ANKARA — Türkiye’s Capital Markets Board extended the three-month period in clause A/8 of specified fund-liquidation procedures to six months, under decision 59/1710 dated 20 September 2026.
The regulator said the other provisions of the procedures announced through its earlier decision and bulletin remained unchanged. The revision is limited to the identified clause.
The board said the change was intended to allow assets to be sold under more suitable conditions, taking account of portfolio structures and market conditions.
The six-month period does not mean that every liquidation must take the full six months. The regulator said procedures could finish earlier where conditions allow. The announcement should not be read as a guaranteed repayment date, a promise of investment returns or a general extension applying to every investment fund.
