ANKARA — Türkiye’s Ministry of National Education has published guidance for its Shared Written Examination System, known as OYSS. The 20 October 2026 announcement scheduled access to the platform from 26 October for the first examination period of the 2026–2027 school year.
The framework covers designated subjects in grades 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11, with exceptions specified in the guide. Teachers are to combine jointly prepared open-ended questions with material from the system’s question bank.
The platform is intended to support exam preparation, recording and analysis at question, student and class level. Its aim is to help teachers identify learning outcomes that need further support.
Digital preparation does not mean that pupils must take the exams online at home. The guide provides for examination papers to be printed. Families should follow their school’s subject coverage and timetable rather than assume that every lesson and grade is included.
